Welcome to the Middle School Counseling Office!

Academic, Career, and Social-Emotional Development.

It is our goal as educators to implement a school counseling program to support students through this important developmental period in their lives. The school counseling program provides education, prevention and intervention activities, which are integrated into all aspects of students’ lives. The program teaches students the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for academic, career and social/ emotional development.  As a part of that program, school counselors implement strategies and activities to help all students enhance their social/emotional development – the mindsets and behaviors students need to manage emotions and learn and apply interpersonal skills - while recognizing that growth in all three domains is necessary for students to be successful now and later in life.
