About Mrs. Claar:
After college graduation, I spent two years with the Bedford Area School District, teaching small group reading intervention for kindergarten through fifth grade. I also spent one year with the Everett Area School District, teaching second grade. I was involved with After School in several districts and started teaching with the Chestnut Ridge School District in 2013, as a fifth grade long-term substitute. I was hired at Chestnut Ridge in August of 2014, teaching fifth grade. I reside with my husband, Matthew, and two children, Jonah and Lily, in Alum Bank.
